Why I Do My Daughters Hair

For as long as I remember, I have loved pretty hair. Hair that had been combed and smoothed and placed in just the right way. I love going to church and seeing little girls looking pretty.

Then I had daughters of my own. I enjoy doing their hair. It is five to ten minutes just us. I lovingly comb out their hair and play with it and we talk. It is very intimate to me. I have had some of the best conversations with my daughters while styling their hair in the mornings.

When I became sick with my last pregnancy, that is what I missed the most. I missed the touching and the hugs and the conversation that I had with my girls.

I started this blog because I love to create and as life gets busy, I don't get to do all of the fun things that I used to do and this is a creative outlet for me.

So, if I am creating hairstyles, I might as well take pictures and share them with others. What good is an idea if it isn't shared?

Some days I will get started on a head of hair and remember that I have a blog, which is the case with this one. *face palm* Oh well. Hopefully everyone knows how to part hair and braid. Because that is where you start with this little lovely.
